Thanks for praying.... Had a really good week at school!!!!=) Already luv my job!!!! =) Monday is my day off so wasn't there today but looking forward to going tomorrow.

Had a great afternoon with the youth yesterday, we went to Tall Timbers, went on a hike and had a light snack when we got back, then went spotting!!! The stars were gorgeous (I preferred looking at them over the deer) =) We serve an AWESOME God!!!!!

It's sooo much fun being able to get out more and do more again, but with that comes a wish for more independance and a wish to be able to do even more... drive, play ball and v-ball, tear around and hang out with friends more WITHOUT being careful that I don't over do it, WITHOUT making sure I get all my pills and meds takin....! =( PATIENCE, PATIENCE, and still more PATIENCE!!!!! But when I really think about it I just want to thank God for what He already has done and STOP complaining!!!!! As I look over the past 5 months, I definately don't understand all the why's but I do know that it has brought me closer to God. There were days when I just felt like giving up, but it seemed God always knew just what I needed and He never failed to bring it to me!!!! I can't imagine what it would be like to go thru something like this without knowing God and without having so many wondeful friends and people praying!!!!

May God bless everyone with a great week, I think maybe I should find my bed soon!!!! =)

My child don't give up. When you feel as if you've run the last lap stop a while and catch your breath. Come rest in My arms. You will have those days when body, spirit, and emotions cry, "Enough!" When that happens, turn to Me and wait. In due time, I will give you strength. You will not only run with energy but also mount up on wings and fly across the finish line. I initiated your race, and I WILL HELP YOU COMPLETE IT. =)

The last couple weeks have been rather busy as I try to be at school as much as possible. I am excited about being at school again this year as secretary and high-school aide! As of now my plans are to be at school 4 days a week. If it just seems like that is too much I may cut back to 3 days. I realize it is important that I am careful that I don't over do it, but for some reason it's just hard for me to decide what really is too much?! I thank God for a mom who cares about me and makes that decision for me when she sees the need!!!!!=)

The doctor visit..... ummmm, it went ok. Definately could have been worse! They did up my medication intake a little which I was not too sure about. The last couple days I've felt a bit more tired and irratible. I have not decided yet whether it's the medication or if it's because I may have overdone it just a little...? I thought I was getting my sleep and eating right and all but I have to remind myself that my body has gone through a lot the last few months and, yes it does definately seem things are going much better but it's just going to take a while till I am back to full health. It takes lots and lots of patience and sometimes I feel like the saying at the top. I had "enough"!!!! Somehow the devil always seems to know when I have weak moments and tries hard to discourage me. I am sooo thankful for prayer and that God understands and cares and best of all He is so much stronger than the devil!!!=)

A few things you can specifically pray about or for:
1. that I can stay strong and hold onto God's promises
2. that school would go well

Lord willing school will start on Tuesday (August 24)!!!! May God bless you all with a good week!

God has a purpose that is held in His heart... God has a path for you that is paved with His grace.

I am so thankful for God's grace and that He has and still is paving my path with it! Just a quick prayer request.... I plan to go to Geisinger tomorrow (August 19) to meet with my dr. Please pray that things would go well and that God would give us and her wisdom and direction!!!

Thanks and may God bless you all with a good day!! :)

PTL!!!! I went to my herb doctor today an got a VERY encouraging report. =) She said it will probably be a while till I am back to total health, since my immune system is weak, but hopefully before too long I should be able to function a bit more normally, From what she could tell the mono and lymes are definatly much better!

Was also at my muscle therapist and that visit went very well too!!! She worked a lot on my neck and was able to strech it farther than ever before!!! =)

Please keep praying, my journey is not over but when I think of where I came from, WOW! I truly believe prayer did more than any of the meds ever could have done!!!! We serve such a big God and yet He cares so much about each and everyone of our problems, no matter how small or large they are!!!! =)

Quote I read....
"God is working out His purpose wisely in each of us. With some, it takes a little longer"

Read this poem this morning and really liked it.......

Wait

Desperately, helplessly, longingly I cried:
Quietly, patiently lovingly God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate,
And the Master so gently said,
"Child you must wait."

"Wait? You say, wait!" my indignant reply.
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word."

My future and to which I can relate
Hangs in the balance and you tell me to WAIT?
I'm needing a "Yes", a go-ahead sign,
Or even a "No" to which I can resign.

And Lord, you promised that if we believe
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
And Lord, I've been asking, and this is my cry:
"I'm weary of asking, I need a reply!"

Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate
As my Master replied once again, "You must wait,"
So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut
And grumbled to God,"So, I'm waiting.... for what?"

He seemed, then, to kneel
And His eyes wept with mine,
And tenderly said,"I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens, and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead, and cause mountains to run."

"All you seek I could give, and pleased you would be.
You would have what you want-
But, you wouldn't know me.
You'd not know the depth of my love for each saint;
You'd not know the power I give to the faint;

You'd not learn to see through clouds of despair;
You'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there;
You'd not know the joy of resting in me;
When darkness and silence were all you could see.

You'd never experience that fullness of love
As the peace of My Spirit descends like a dove;
You'd know that I give and I save, for a start,
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of my heart.

The glow of My comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight,
The depth that's beyond getting just what you asked
Of an infinite God, who makes what you have last.

You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that,"My grace is sufficient for thee".
Yes, your dreams for your loved one
Overnight would come true,
But, Oh, the loss! If I lost what I'm doing in you!

So, be silent, My child, and in time you will see
That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me.
And though oft' My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still, "Wait."

Wow!!! Had a fun afternoon at school!=)

Am actually getting really exited about the coming school term. I plan to go as secretary and also help out quite a bit in the high school room!!! I feel quite honored that, although I have my limitations, they are still offering me a job!!! At this point I think, maybe, hopefully I will be able to be there full time! =) Only God knows!

God has been so good to me and as I look over the past few months, from the middle of March when I started noticing some involuntery neck movements to April 12 when I starting doctoring and on into May when there were quite a few weeks that I spent flat on my back, barely able to do anything for myself and also noticing that my walking abilities were going down-hill FAST! Not exactly sure on the date but sometime about the beggining-middle of May I had an anointing service. It was about all I could do to go from my bed upstairs to my bed in the living room not to mention the many doctor visits that put me thru what seemed like pure torcher, and then the first Saturday in June when my best friend got married, instead of serving her I was at least able to be there with cruches and a rocking chair oh and the help from family and friends! Then it was June, the days would come and go, some much better than others but still lots of doctor visits and still not getting out much more than I had to because it was just too stressful to get my hair looking half decent and plus sitting up on a chair for more than about an hour or so was just pushing it too much. I think it might have been about the end of June when I started noticing definite improvment, I started doing more for myself, my walking was improving, I could truthfully say I felt better!!!! July came and with it fewer doctor visits and more improvments!!!=) I was at church more regularly and even managed some youth activities. Also went on a small shopping trip and enjoyed a few days at my friends house. It just seemed as the month progressed so did my improvments. Some of them so small that I barely noticed it. That's when my friends and extended family would encourage me by telling me that I had improved since they last saw me. For some it was a month or more but there were also many who had seen me a week or two ago and saw improvment!!!! =)

As of now, my walking is what I would call really good. Writing is still a bit hard and my neck pulls quite a bit to the right. It seems the muscles on the right are actually too weak to allow me to turn my head to the left but the good news is that the muscle treatments I am getting seem to have helped that quite a bit!!! =)

I like how my friend put it, this is my journey. (Grace=) I don't fully understand why God chose me to take this journey, but I do know that I have learned so much through it, and one of the biggest things is to 'Trust God'!!!!! I do not know where this journey will all take me yet but I do know that God is and will be with me. =) One thing that has been such a blessing is the fact that I rarely had severe pain!!! My prayer is that whatever happens, that God would recieve the honor and glory!!!

It seems the devil always has some tactic or another that he uses to try to get us down. Right now that tactic for me is.... What if I never do return to full health? I mean at this point there are lots of things I can do and I can live a half decently normal life, but I'm still young, I have dreams and goals just like any normal young person. But I don't know what God has in mind and although I want to fight the thought that maybe this is what God wants for me, my prayer is that whatever God has in mind that I would be ok with it!!

We've got the power in the name of Jesus, we've got the power in the name of the Lord, though satan rages we will not be defeated, we've got the power in the name of the Lord!!!!
