God has a purpose that is held in His heart... God has a path for you that is paved with His grace.
I am so thankful for God's grace and that He has and still is paving my path with it! Just a quick prayer request.... I plan to go to Geisinger tomorrow (August 19) to meet with my dr. Please pray that things would go well and that God would give us and her wisdom and direction!!!
Thanks and may God bless you all with a good day!! :)

PTL!!!! I went to my herb doctor today an got a VERY encouraging report. =) She said it will probably be a while till I am back to total health, since my immune system is weak, but hopefully before too long I should be able to function a bit more normally, From what she could tell the mono and lymes are definatly much better!
Was also at my muscle therapist and that visit went very well too!!! She worked a lot on my neck and was able to strech it farther than ever before!!! =)
Please keep praying, my journey is not over but when I think of where I came from, WOW! I truly believe prayer did more than any of the meds ever could have done!!!! We serve such a big God and yet He cares so much about each and everyone of our problems, no matter how small or large they are!!!! =)
Quote I read....
"God is working out His purpose wisely in each of us. With some, it takes a little longer"

Read this poem this morning and really liked it.......
Wait
Desperately, helplessly, longingly I cried:
Quietly, patiently lovingly God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate,
And the Master so gently said,
"Child you must wait."
"Wait? You say, wait!" my indignant reply.
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word."
My future and to which I can relate
Hangs in the balance and you tell me to WAIT?
I'm needing a "Yes", a go-ahead sign,
Or even a "No" to which I can resign.
And Lord, you promised that if we believe
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
And Lord, I've been asking, and this is my cry:
"I'm weary of asking, I need a reply!"
Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate
As my Master replied once again, "You must wait,"
So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut
And grumbled to God,"So, I'm waiting.... for what?"
He seemed, then, to kneel
And His eyes wept with mine,
And tenderly said,"I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens, and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead, and cause mountains to run."
"All you seek I could give, and pleased you would be.
You would have what you want-
But, you wouldn't know me.
You'd not know the depth of my love for each saint;
You'd not know the power I give to the faint;
You'd not learn to see through clouds of despair;
You'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there;
You'd not know the joy of resting in me;
When darkness and silence were all you could see.
You'd never experience that fullness of love
As the peace of My Spirit descends like a dove;
You'd know that I give and I save, for a start,
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of my heart.
The glow of My comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight,
The depth that's beyond getting just what you asked
Of an infinite God, who makes what you have last.
You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that,"My grace is sufficient for thee".
Yes, your dreams for your loved one
Overnight would come true,
But, Oh, the loss! If I lost what I'm doing in you!
So, be silent, My child, and in time you will see
That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me.
And though oft' My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still, "Wait."

Wow!!! Had a fun afternoon at school!=)
Am actually getting really exited about the coming school term. I plan to go as secretary and also help out quite a bit in the high school room!!! I feel quite honored that, although I have my limitations, they are still offering me a job!!! At this point I think, maybe, hopefully I will be able to be there full time! =) Only God knows!
God has been so good to me and as I look over the past few months, from the middle of March when I started noticing some involuntery neck movements to April 12 when I starting doctoring and on into May when there were quite a few weeks that I spent flat on my back, barely able to do anything for myself and also noticing that my walking abilities were going down-hill FAST! Not exactly sure on the date but sometime about the beggining-middle of May I had an anointing service. It was about all I could do to go from my bed upstairs to my bed in the living room not to mention the many doctor visits that put me thru what seemed like pure torcher, and then the first Saturday in June when my best friend got married, instead of serving her I was at least able to be there with cruches and a rocking chair oh and the help from family and friends! Then it was June, the days would come and go, some much better than others but still lots of doctor visits and still not getting out much more than I had to because it was just too stressful to get my hair looking half decent and plus sitting up on a chair for more than about an hour or so was just pushing it too much. I think it might have been about the end of June when I started noticing definite improvment, I started doing more for myself, my walking was improving, I could truthfully say I felt better!!!! July came and with it fewer doctor visits and more improvments!!!=) I was at church more regularly and even managed some youth activities. Also went on a small shopping trip and enjoyed a few days at my friends house. It just seemed as the month progressed so did my improvments. Some of them so small that I barely noticed it. That's when my friends and extended family would encourage me by telling me that I had improved since they last saw me. For some it was a month or more but there were also many who had seen me a week or two ago and saw improvment!!!! =)
As of now, my walking is what I would call really good. Writing is still a bit hard and my neck pulls quite a bit to the right. It seems the muscles on the right are actually too weak to allow me to turn my head to the left but the good news is that the muscle treatments I am getting seem to have helped that quite a bit!!! =)
I like how my friend put it, this is my journey. (Grace=) I don't fully understand why God chose me to take this journey, but I do know that I have learned so much through it, and one of the biggest things is to 'Trust God'!!!!! I do not know where this journey will all take me yet but I do know that God is and will be with me. =) One thing that has been such a blessing is the fact that I rarely had severe pain!!! My prayer is that whatever happens, that God would recieve the honor and glory!!!
It seems the devil always has some tactic or another that he uses to try to get us down. Right now that tactic for me is.... What if I never do return to full health? I mean at this point there are lots of things I can do and I can live a half decently normal life, but I'm still young, I have dreams and goals just like any normal young person. But I don't know what God has in mind and although I want to fight the thought that maybe this is what God wants for me, my prayer is that whatever God has in mind that I would be ok with it!!
We've got the power in the name of Jesus, we've got the power in the name of the Lord, though satan rages we will not be defeated, we've got the power in the name of the Lord!!!!

Dear friends of Crystal,
Here is a letter that was given out at church on Sunday, but it is not just for our church. We want you to read it too!
When we came home a month ago, we were so burdened to see Crystal afflicted with this mysterious condition. Our hearts grieve for her. We wish we could do something for her, but what? In talking with friends from church, we heard the same cry echoed.
After talking it over, we thought of it that there IS something really powerful that we can do for Crystal! We can band together as a church, stand shoulder to shoulder before the throne of grace, and there bring boldly our request for Crystal’s healing.
We would like to set aside 3 days to pray for Crystal’s healing, and invite all our dear brothers and sisters to join us in seeking God’s face. If anyone would care to fast for some or all of those days, that would be appropriate as well. The dates we are proposing are this weekend, July 30, 31, and Aug. 1, Friday through Sunday.
We know that people have individually been praying for Crystal, and that God has already brought healing. We rejoice in that, but believe there is also strength and power in a unified prayer effort.
During these 3 days, suggestions include: personal reflection to make sure our hearts are right before God, getting together with someone else to pray together for Crystal, going to Crystal’s house to pray with her.
We asked Crystal how we should pray, so here is a list.
Here are a few things to specifically pray about
1. most of all that God would receive all the honor and glory
2. that I would be able to go to school when it starts (Aug. 24)
3. that I could keep my spirits up and that I could be patient
4. that I would be able to put my hair up better
5. that I would accept whatever God has in mind for my life
6. that we would make wise decisions as to which route we should take
Also would like to add a few things to be thankful for.... =)
1. there has def been improvement
2. I have very little pain
3. that my movements have improved
4. that I have sooo many people who really care
We don’t want to short-circuit God’s redemptive work in our hearts and lives, and we want to be accepting of whatever method he chooses to use, but we would like to add one request to Crystal’s list…for healing!
We want to invite Crystal’s friends and aunts and uncles and cousins to join us these three days in fasting and prayer. We knew they would want to be a part of it if they knew about it!
Thank you,
Friends from church

"We have this moment to hold in our hands and to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand, yesterdays gone and tomorrow may never come but we have this moment today."

Please Pray!!!!! I was at my muscle therapist yesterday and she really worked on my neck, leg, and arm muscles. I felt good about the treatment and it seemed like we got somewhere especially with my neck. I came home and was up and around some last evening and thot about it some that my neck and arm movements seemed a little worse. I just felt kind of out of control (esp. when I walk)!!! I tried not to worry and thot hopefully if I rest well it will be ok.=) I slept well last night and got up this morning sore, which is nothing unusual. Again, it just seems when I am up and around it feels like my arms and neck esp. just seem 'out of control'. I don't know is it because my body is just reacting to the treatment, is it because I am tightning up because I'm going away for a couple days (dad's family is getting together, I don't really feel nervous or anything, in fact I am looking forward to it, but it could be my muscles are reacting)?
~OOOpppppsss just now mom discovered I skipped my evening meds last night. Wow sure didn't realize it helped THAT much!!!! Well, u can still pray =), pray that I could enjoy the next few days of vacation!!!!
Thanks, and May God bless you all with a great week
