*Just when we think all hope is gone, Jesus fills our hearts with song*
The past few weeks have been a little on the down side! :( It seems the mono has been wanting to hang on longer than I wish it would. I've been experiencing quite a bit of pain with it as well, due to tight muscles. It's affecting my back too, it's just not as straight and I have more pain there too. One thing for sure it makes me realize how far I had come!!!
The end of last week I thought I was feeling better, I was even at school a little. Had a full day on Thursday, but consoled myself with the thought that I won't do much on Friday or Saturday. Sadly I fear my body didn't appreciate that and I'm reaping for it. I was at church Sunday morning and it was good to go after missing the last two weeks, but till last night rolled around I was TIGHT!!! I slept fairly well last night and feel a bit more relaxed today again. Tomorrow morning I have plans to go to my muscle therapist!! yeah!!!! Hopefully she can give these tight, stubborn muscles a work-out!!! :)
I have no plans to go to school this week, but rather I am staying home and want to take it easy, with high hopes of going to Lancaster for the weekend to attend a friends wedding. Not sure how it will all work out... would appreciate your prayers.
Now, for the GOOD news....
SURGERY plans are making progress!!! April 13, 2011 I plan to go to the hospital in Philly to meet with my surgeon and possibly a few other doctors we will be working with through this process!!! I found it very interesting that it will be exactly one year and one day ago (April 12 2010) that I first started doctoring for this whole thing!!! WOW, so glad I'm on this side of it!!!
May you all have a blessed week!!!
P.S. prayer request.... Dad's dad (dawdy) had colon cancer about 1 1/2 years ago. They did surgery and had good results, if i remember correctly they got pretty much all of it. We are so thankful that God gave him one really good year, with the cancer in remission. This past fall (2010) he was not feeling well again and upon farther investigation, discovered his cancer was back, only this time much worse, his body is cancer infested!!! It's so hard to see him this way, he was one of the kind that was rarely sick, now we watch with aching hearts as he slowly slips away, not to mention that he has LOTS of pain. Please especially pray for grandma (mommie) as she does her best to care for him. Thanks....
hope you have a good day!
